Solano Coalition for Better Health Programs
The Solano Kids Insurance Program (SKIP) helps kids get the coverage they need by assisting families to enroll their children into Medi-Cal and Healthy Families programs, or into the Healthy Kids Solano program for those children who do not qualify for state-sponsored care.
Healthy Kids Solano Program is no longer accepting new applicants. Medi-Cal will now cover all children, regardless of immigration status, under 19 years of age who meet the Medi-Cal eligibility requirements. Give us a call at 1-800-978-7547 to learn more and how you can transition from Healthy Kids to Medi-Cal.
Solano Coalition for Better Health provides free assistance to Solano County residents interested in Covered California or other affordable health care options.
SKIP provides application assistance for CalFresh, a food assistance program formerly known as Food Stamps. CalFresh will help stretch your food dollars, allowing the family to purchase more fruit, vegetables and other healthy foods. If you are the only person in your household or have a family and work full time, with assets, you may still qualify for this program. Call a SKIP representative today at 1-800-978-7547.
The Transitional Care Program (TCP) provides respite housing and case management services to clients who are referred from hospitals and emergency rooms throughout Solano County, with respite houses located in Vallejo and Fairfield.
